2019 WAS A BLAST! Is it just me or has this year simply been batsh*t crazy!!!

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and as we enter the new decade, the crew at RP just couldn’t help but look back at all the crazy goodness of 2019.

Here’s our take on the top 10 things that made 2019 so damn Awesome!!!!

 

10.CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS

This has literally been every comic book fan’s dream for as long as I can remember. Crisis is here, and the best part is, it isn’t over. Decades of DC TV finally coming together, you know it had to be on this list!

 

9.COD MODERN WARFARE

Christmas came early this , year … and that didn’t stop it from popping by a few more times. One such occasion was when Infinity Ward finally released Modern Warfare! COD can now boast of been a mobile sensation as well, what is the world coming to?

 

8.YOUNG JUSTICE SEASON 3

We never thought we would see the day but they are back! After years of fighting the fans finally triumphed and the best Animated superhero show of all time is back.

Young Justice outsiders was just one of those things that have me suspecting I’m in a really long dream. Either I took the blue pill or there is truly good in the world!

 

7.DEMON SLAYER

The future of Anime is slaying and 2019 was more than happy to make that clear on more than one occasion! Demon slayer was that refreshing masterpiece we all needed, am I right? or am I right??

 

6.LAGOS COMIC CON

This year’s Lagos Comic con was the biggest thing in all of African Geeking. The scale and of course we had Malika finally been premiered. It was a fitting way to end a decade of African geeking!

 

5.MK11

It’s hard to believe but we’ve finally gotten over here! A reboot and Liu kang finally achieving god status, God damn it, God damn it!!! Need I say more?

 

4.JOHN WICK CHAPTER 3

I know it’s just crazy right, one good thing after another, I mean nothing gets better than seeing Wick been wicked to some very unfortunate soul who thought he had a shot!

 

3.JOKER

Someone finally figured it was time to give this guy a movie….about time!…2019 is the gift that just keeps giving isn’t it? … now why so serious?…keep that smile up the best is yet to come!

 

2.GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8

By the 7 the old gods and the Lord of light, this really should have been the best thing of the year, I mean I still get geekgasms thinking about the battle of winterfell and Dany burning down Kingslanding but damn it they could have really done better with execution, four more episodes wouldn’t have hurt … and it is for that reason number one goes to none other than

AVENGERS ENDGAME

What else? TELL ME …. WHAT ELSE? You know it, I KNOW IT….this was the biggest thing this year, that final battle, every thing since Iron man 1 coming together in such a magnificent payoff. IT really has been an awesome year, so now as we say good bye to a decade we can’t help but look forward… to the stars, where hope shines BRIGHT!
