Winter 2020 got off to a great start where the last season left off. Unsurprisingly, this marked the beginning of a lot of new shows movies, and sequels that are sure to be fun for all casual anime fans. Individually, I don’t believe I’ll watch every show that airs this season, but I will give my thoughts on some shows that I believe will be worth watching. Here’s a list of the shows that I’ll be watching this winter season of 2020.

DARWIN’S GAME

“An unknowing Sudou Kaname is invited to try out a new mysterious mobile app game called Darwin’s Game, but later realizes that he’s in for more than he’s bargained for when he finds out that there’s no way to quit the game.”

This show reminds me a lot about Kings Game, another battle royale style anime that invokes people playing an impossible to escape, bloody killing game.

From the beginning I knew this show was either gonna be very good, or incredibly bad, thankfully it was the former. The mc does seem to be stupid at times, not listening to his friends (stupidly getting involved in a killing game on a whim only to later regret it). Overall the show appears to be quite good. Its got a good premise, cool music, wonderful animation, and the MC isn’t as stupid and dense as we see in most anime.

This show began airing on the 4th of January 2020 and is expected to run for 11 episodes.

PET

“There are people who can get into people’s minds and control their memories. This power is used to eradicate mysteries and cases or worse, to assassinate. The potential of said power is strong enough that it is able to destroy people’s minds, however, it can backfire and eat up ones own heart. To counter it, chains are used to lock and protect each other’s weak and dangerous hearts. From one’s growing fear and disdain, they’re consequently called as a “Pet.””

Okay, this show is wierd. The premise is cool but things tend to get trippy or at the very least confusing. This fits in with the shows description as we’re not sure wether or not what we’re seeing is true or is what we’re being made to beleive. It speaks a lot about….. lemme just keep my mouth shut😜.

Honestly i keep mistaking this show for another one that’ll be discussed in a bit because of their titles. This show is set in a very developed future version of Japan, very much like Psycho Pass series. The police have futuristic tech that can sense the killing intent of a person and project into the form of a mini-world referred to as a “well”. Only certain

 

JOIN THE PACK! SETON ACADEMY

“Seton Academy, a school full of animals where, thanks to population decline, there are fewer humans than any other creature. Mazama Jin, an animal hater and the only human male in his class, falls in love with Hino Hitomi, the only female human, the moment he lays eyes her. INFINITE DENDOGRAM

SORCEROUS STABBER ORPHEN
